Our Craft

Every Y&D Leather-HB product begins with genuine Italian vegetable-tanned leather.

Unlike chrome-tanned leather, vegetable tanning uses natural tannins extracted from plants, giving every hide its warm appearance and allowing it to age beautifully over time.

Each piece goes through a careful handcrafted process:

• Leather selection

• Pattern cutting

• Edge finishing

• Hand punching

• Saddle stitching

• Burnishing

• Final inspection

Leather Care

Caring for Your Leather

Vegetable-tanned leather becomes more beautiful with proper care.

Daily Care

• Keep leather dry.

• Avoid prolonged direct sunlight.

• Store in a cool, dry place.

Cleaning

Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth.

Avoid harsh chemicals or alcohol-based cleaners.

Conditioning

Apply leather conditioner every 6–12 months depending on usage.

Natural Aging
